This was the shows biggest surprise. Nobody was really expecting a range of concept bikes . . . certainly not from Guzzi and good old Pierre Terblanche, the father of many loved and not-so-loved Ducatis. He was called to collaborate on the project with current Piaggio head of design, Miguel Galuzzi. Based on the current 1200 cc cam-in-head mill, the three bikes share the same aluminum frame (two castings welded at the center). The red V12LM (for Le Mans) is the sporty one, the green V12X is a big supermoto of sorts, while the silver V12 Strada is the only one with room for a passenger (and therefore the one that could be closer to production). Nice to see exciting stuff on the horizon from Guzzi. A brand that really deserves more success.

Kegunaan Fairing Pada Motor

Suzuki Motorcycle Fairing
Suzuki Motorcycle Fairing

1. Aerodynamics: Fairing serves to reduce wind resistance during high-speed motor. Actually, the motor speed is still below 160 km / h still not really need fairing. If asked, it is important where the use of fairing, in the MotoGP class, or 125 cc? The answer is 125 cc. Why? Because this bike is very lightweight and far less energy than the motor in MotoGP class (although far less top speed). Good Fairing minimal fairing air resistance, so not only protected the motor from the harsh wind, as well as any jockey. On the other hand, must be fairing well to channel the wind machine parts that require cooling or to the intake airbox that needs fresh air supply. Air pressure in the airbox grown large enough, because very influential on the peak power. For that, the form of fairing, airbox funnel intake and should be possible harmonist designed.

2. Views motor: motor manufacturers with one another always wanted to be different! There was a trend in the design fairing and body as a whole, but each manufacturer tried to find characteristics of each, and different from other manufacturers (this of course does not apply to manufacturers who are not professional). If a manufacturer has found a form acceptable to the market a long time, it means fairing shape is reached Classic ''form''. See it, and the fairing Ducati 916 Yamaha R1 RN01 (916nya Japan), they continue to color the fairing shape generation until today. Another example is the Suzuki Hayabusa, it still seems to present the basic concept .... Compare with Honda or Kawasaki Superbike that seems to be still groping for identity the fairing.

3. Sponsors: Fairing's the coolest billboard in the world 2 wheels!

4. In the race, the bottom of the fairing should be able to accommodate at least 3 liters of fluid. The bottom fairing must be able to accommodate in case of engine oil leakage. Naturally, because of oil on the track means the end for the motor racing behind him.

5. Fairing is used to cover the additional devices are kept secret! Only mechanics, team members and the committee can look-peered, what's behind the fairing ...

6.Fairing used to hide the device-mystical devices, such as a cow bell, mini keris knife gold leaf etc.. which serves to make the motor accelerated faster than his shadow.

7. Fairing is used drivers to commemorate his father's services to pay for drivers racing with the team interesting.

2010 Harley Davidson FLHTCUSE CVO Ultra Classic Electra Glide Price

2010 Harley Davidson FLHTCUSE CVO Ultra Classic Electra Glide
$35,999; limited production of 3450 units

If you’re one of those riders with the time and money to ride all over this great nation in high style and for weeks on end, you’re gonna want to pile it all on the Ultra Electra Glide. I know I would.

As the CVO veteran in the line-up, the Ultra returns for it’s fifth year on the bill with a focus on the tail end of the motorcycle.

The Ultra is also built upon the same new Touring chassis as the CVO Street Glide, rolling on Harley’s Roulette wheels – 17-inch front, 16-inch rear – with the same 130/180 Dunlops you’ll find on the Fat Bob.

In addition to the standard CVO color-matching frame and swingarm, the Ultra comes with a color-matched and LED-equipped Tour-Pak with integrated brake and tail lights and a push-button LED on the underside for illuminating down into the saddlebags. Switching from an incandescent bulb taillight to LED lighting not only offers brighter lights but also frees up storage capacity within the Tour-Pak. Another upgrade is the change from Powerlet-type 12-volt sockets to cigarette-lighter-style outlets. Fender filler strips and engine guard fairing lowers also match the paint scheme of the inner fairing assembly.

Pumping out of that gauge-packed dash is an 80-watt Harmon/Kardon Advanced audio system with CB, intercom and navigation systems.

Increasing two-up comfort and tourability, the Ultra now sports an adjustable rider backrest and a two-way adjustable (up/down, in/out) lumbar support in the passenger backrest for making the miles more comfortable for everyone aboard.

The Ultra’s color palette also delivers in three mouth watering schemes: Scarlet red Pearl/Dark Slate with Flame graphic; Riptide Blue/Titanium Dust with Flame graphic; and Burnt Amber/Hot Citrus with Flame graphic. Boy that’s a mouthful!

The 2010 CVO Ultra has an MSRP of $35,999. An accessory wheel option includes a chrome, profile laced aluminum wheel for $500.

MODENAS C110 SPECS AND PICS

Modenas CT110 has just been launched on 23rd October 2009.
CT is being referred to 'Citarasa Terkini' (New Style/Design/Taste/Fashion)
The best feature of this bike is the biggest fuel tank capacity in its class that is 5.3 liter.
For comparison, it is much bigger than;
Honda Wave: 3.7 liter,
Honda EX5: 3.7 liter,
Honda iCon: 3.5 liter,
Suzuki Belang R150: 4.9 liter,
Suzuki Shogun SP/RR: 4.3 liter,
Suzuki Smash Revo: 4.3 liter,
Suzuki Skydrive: 4.0 liter,
Modenas Kriss 100/110/120/GT128: 4.3 liter,
Yamaha Ego: 3.5 liter,
Yamaha Ego S: 4.1 liter and
Yamaha 135LC/ES: 4.0 liter.
Compared to Yamaha 125Z/R (5.5 liter) and Yamaha RX-Z (13.0 liter), Modenas CT110 have much smaller fuel tank capacity. Then again, both of the bike doesn't belong to the same class as the Modenas CT110.
For this massive fuel tank capacity, you can get up to 250km on highway cruise, that is as far as travelling from Johor to Kuala Lumpur without a fuel station stop!
Other than that, it features a few upgrade from the previous Kriss model that it replace that is:
- 4-speed rotary gear shift
- dual piston front disc brake
- rider's seat adjustable headlight
I wish Modenas would come with a bike that features:
- monoshock rear suspension
- front and rear dual piston disc brake
- 6-speed gear
That is too much to ask from Modenas, I think. Anyway, the big fuel tank is the best selling point for Modenas CT110 and I personally think this bike is good, if not better than Modenas Kriss 110.

Fareastgizmos Honda CV-Matic- New Automatic Transmission

Honda has developed a new automatic transmission, the CV-Matic, which can be used in combination with Cub-style engines. The Honda CV-Matic, features a new cooling system developed on the basis of Honda's small-motorcycle automatic transmission technology, which protects the drive belt from the high temperatures it is subjected to. This enhances the durability of the drive belt and allows for the more compact design with a shorter distance between pulleys. Thanks to this advance, the positioning of the engine does not need to be significantly altered,CV-Matic

This new fully automatic transmission further enhances the practicality and convenience of the Cub-type models that have won fans worldwide, especially in developing countries. The new system will be available with Cub-style scooters to be released in the ASEAN region starting in 2010.

RACING BOY PISTON CALIPER FOT FITMENT

This 4-piston brake caliper from Racing Boy has been fitted to Suzuki Shogun bike which is featured in the Malaysian Cub Prix Championship. This means that fitting 4-piston caliper is already enough for racing

Boy Racing 4-piston caliper fits very nicely with Racing Boy 300mm disc plate. As you can see from the picture above, the brake pad of 4-piston caliper 300mm disc holding plate and provide a good brake line features on the disk platter. Usually, the wrong fitment of caliper and disc plate will make the dish disk being gripped only by the outer side of the brake pad.
